Community collabs are one of my favorite things to cover here on Kylee, and this one's got a lot going for it.
The 3DX Discord is putting together a collaborative wallpaper calendar spanning September 2026 through December 2027 — and they're looking for artists to claim a month and contribute one piece of art. That's it. One image, one month, your style.
How it works
There's no required theme, which means this is genuinely wide open. Pick an available month and make something you're proud of. If your month has a major holiday in it, the organizers ask that you reflect that in your work — it's a respect thing for the community spirit of the project. And if all months are taken (or inspiration just hits), you can still contribute bonus artwork.
The only hard requirement is resolution: 16:9 4K (3840 × 2160). Ultrawide (21:9 / 5120 × 2160) is welcomed but not required. AI upscaling and denoising tools are allowed — AI generation is not.
One more thing: leave space for the calendar overlay. The upper right corner is the recommended spot, or you can incorporate your own calendar design directly into the artwork.

If you know you won't be able to finish, give the organizers a heads-up at least two weeks before the deadline so they can find a replacement — courtesy goes a long way in a collab like this.
