Backstory
I've spent a lot of time asking artists to join Kylee. Most of the time, the site wasn't the problem.
"I already post to four places. I'm not adding a fifth."
I've heard that line more times than I can count, and it's frustrating considering how much time I've put into building Kylee. However, rather than keep trying to talk people out of it, I set out to come up with a better solution than any of the other sites have - because guess what, I've said it before and I'll say it again:
I actually care about artists and fans..
That being said, this was, by a distance, one of the harder things I've built. Bluesky and X share almost nothing: different logins, different limits, different rules for adult work. Account linking had to be built from the ground up, encrypted end to end. And the single most important piece — the setting that marks adult art as sensitive on X — isn't publicly documented anywhere. We found it by testing on a throwaway account until we could prove it held. Right up to the point it worked, X looked like it might not be possible at all.
I wasn't willing to ship it otherwise.
The Feature
When you upload on Kylee, your post can go to your Bluesky and X accounts at the same time. You turn it on per post, and you see exactly what will appear before you publish.
You must be a verified artist to access this feature. Connect your accounts under Settings → Account, and they'll be waiting next time you upload.
I'm not asking you for a fifth platform. I'm asking for one less thing to do.
